Tickled Pink Plastic, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

We are no so Tickled Pink (a Rehoboth (or Rehomo) Beach gift shop) by the way this commercial establishment has managed to do everything possible to make this once charming Rehoboth Avenue dwelling look like a brand new plastic house in the suburbs.  With the vinyl siding, plastic (vinyl) shutters (that wouldn’t even cover the windows if they were actually on hinges and not screwed to the wall), the new windows, and the god-awful home-depot-doors, the old brick chimney is all that can be seen of the early twentieth century dwelling.

What is really sad is that Tickled Pink doesn’t even realize that they’re fake colonial revival finishes would have originally had a much more idyllic feeling as is seen in the Rehoboth Avenue dwelling above…

Martha would definitely administer at least four swats on this turd (the pink turd that is).
