While we thoroughly enjoy the whole Louis-the-whatever theme, we had hoped for the same sophistication in decorating as is present in certain enjoyable fashion choices of our little American princess.  But alas even the rich need edification:

We darkened this photo to give the room a more Salon-esque feeling and actually admire some of the choices, which are indicated by little flames (the floor, the sofa, the mantel, the candelabra, and what we can see of the billiards table). The rug is nice, but the colors are a bit floral compared to the rest of the room; however, we can live with it.  On the other hand the chairs are a bit bulky and it would be nice to vary them in Louis-styles.  Most importantly, we want to trash that nasty ass screen (to the right) that is, I guess, used for viewings. Could that thing not be retractable so that when it is not in use one could enjoy a nice oil painting of some naked French people.  Come on Paris, you’re rich.  Buy some art.

Speaking of art, this painting is re-cock-ulous!  We do not enjoy.  We don’t give a rats royal ass who painted it…  We just ask that the Hiltons pick someone focusing on Paris’ more elegant side next time…

OR, be less self absorbed and buy some good art!  A nice Élisabeth-Louise Vigée-Le Brun (1755-1842) would be appropriate for the princess, as Vigée was, for a while, Marie Antoinette’s favorite painter.  I know Paris enjoys that Queen!

Yet another option would be to have someone do a French themed wonderment such as the one above!  This is actually one of Vigee’s paintings with Paris worked in…  So either have a Vigee original hanging here or simply a likeness of Paris in Vigee style.

Madam Hilton, you have the proper foundation, but could we not step the rest of it up a notch?
