Some “Bricks and Stone” With Concrete Bones, Nashville, Tennessee
In an effort to respect the continued use of “bricks and stone,” among other aesthetic minded materials, we will not give our opinion as to the facade treatment of APlus Stone and Materials at No. 8 Hart Street, in Nashville, Tennessee. While we are happy to see that the building has been reused, we are not sure what to make of the multi-stone masonry facade. It is certainly bazaar as within the facade alone are eight types of stone. Please also note that within the front yard of the building is a brick mail box, two or three “stone” floor types, two three “stone” retaining walls of varying sizes, and a “stone” balustrade.

Before APlus and perhaps pre-Floyd's Construction Services, the building was a derelict hole. Note, however, that its earlier facade also contains stone, which may have attracted the current use. Please note: Facade of 8 Different Types of Stone, 2 or 3 Stone Floor Types, 2 or 3 Retaining Wall Types of Varying Size, and Fancy "Stone" Balustrade...Advertising at its best...
