Washington Post Advertisement, Only 2 Left, Referring to Semi-Bungalows For Sale Built by Horace G. Smithy, the Eminent Real Estate Developer of Washington D.C. Published in 1930.

This advertisement from the Washington Post features a large star of David, not usually illustrated for design purposes, but perhaps, in this case, to denote that the houses being sold were being marketed to Jews.  Historically, in many places, advertising made perfectly clear who was welcome and who was not. Some of this was based on more communal lifestyles and cultures of that period, and some were just anti-Semitic. Jewish patrons were among those who suffered these injustices. If anyone can provide intelligence on this advertisement, we would be most grateful.
